Kosho-Ryu Kenpo - Is a form of self-defense primarily of spiritual development. The original art of self-defense brought to Hawaii in 1940, and taught by Grand Master James M. Mitose, 21st descendant of the founder of Kenpo. All students of Kenpo related arts, regardless if they call it Kenpo-Jiu Jitsu, Kenpo Karate, Seishindo Kenpo, American Kenpo, Kajukenbo, or Karate-Kenpo; can trace their origins to Mitose Kosho-Ryu Kenpo.
