Daniel M. Rodarte Is an American Martial Artist, Instructor and KickBoxing Promoter.




Early Days

Received his 1st degree black belt in Kenpo Karate from Ed Parker in 1969. In 1974 Rodarte opened his first Kenpo Karate Studio. Rodarte was also a co-founder of the (TPA) Tournament Promoters Association in Southern California.

Rodarte became a pioneer of US full-contact Kickboxing events in Southern California, including the very first Western U.S.-Thai Kickboxing event in Hawaii. Rodarte organized & promoted the first officially licensed Thai Kickboxing event at the Los Angeles Olympic Auditorium.

In 1982 Rodarte graduated from the Rio Hondo Police Reserves academy and later received a “Certificate of Good Samaritan Award” from District Attorney Ira Reiner for his involvement in an investigation.

Rodarte’s Kenpo School was tragically destroyed in the California Earthquake of 1989.
