Judo (柔道 jūdō, "gentle way") - Created in Japan in 1882 by Jigoro Kano (嘉納治五郎) - Is a Martial Arts with emphasis on subduing an opponent using pins, locks, chocks and body leverage to force an opponent into submission. It is practiced World Wide and is an Olympic Sport.
